Clubs & Organizations

Clubs and Organizations at Cristo Rey Jesuit are focused on everything from gardening to art, service to academic excellence and the great outdoors.

There are many opportunities for students to try new things, improve existing skills, and become better leaders. In addition to what is listed below, we add additional opportunities each year based on student interest and initiative.

Clubs & Organizations

  • Woods Club strives to develop the confidence, perseverance, and adaptability of its members through outdoor adventures that include camping, hiking, and environmental service projects.

  • Art Club meets every other week to embark upon creative adventures of epic proportions. Projects often revolve around school events and our deepest creative desires.

  • Hearts on Fire's purpose is to make one’s appreciation of the love of God come alive so that one’s heart is on fire. This is done through music, videos and short presentations during lunch periods.

  • Service Club is dedicated to helping out their community through volunteer experiences and various donation drives.

  • Student Ambassadors represent Cristo Rey Jesuit by helping and guiding guests during school sponsored activities.

  • Garden Club focuses the practical skills involved in growing our own food.

  • Chess Club members may play friendly games, learn how to play Chess, or work on Chess problems.

  • Yearbook Club

  • Environmental Club

  • Culinary Club

  • National Honor Society students are selected based on scholarship, leadership, character, and service. They engage in service projects during the year and are challenged to be leaders in and out of school.

“This school is just so alive. All the time, there’s noise and constant motion. That’s how you know this is home, this is family. It’s really beautiful.”

Natalie Evangalista, Class of 2019, UTSA Class of 2023
