What is the new Texas Education Savings Account (ESA) program?

Starting in the 2026–27 school year, Texas will launch its new Education Savings Account (ESA) program under Senate Bill 2. Eligible families can receive approximately $10,000 per year per child to apply toward educational services, such as private school tuition. The program offers flexibility and financial support for students and families that can make attending Cristo Rey Jesuit even more affordable. Cristo Rey Jesuit continues to diligently monitor the qualifications, launch, and registration process for the ESA program. Cristo Rey Jesuit plans to assist prospective families as much as possible when the final process and timeline are announced.
