Rev. Randal S. Gibbens, SJ
President of Cristo Rey Jesuit
Fr. Randy Gibbens, SJ is beloved and deeply respected for his dedication to CRJ’s academic excellence and for his
leadership in guiding the spiritual formation of our students. Fr. Gibbens, who joined CRJ in 2019, has been an admired Chaplain, Director of Student Life and esteemed instructor of biology, geometry, and AP environmental science. He is also the sponsor of the popular CRJ Garden Club! Fr. Gibbens has immersed himself in CRJ’s mission to inspire and prepare students of limited economic resources to succeed in college and lead their communities as compassionate, committed, and competent men and women for others for the greater glory of God.
“Cristo Rey Jesuit does a great job preparing the students to work in the corporate world — to pay attention to details and to be enthusiastic. As corporate partners, we are changing the students’ mind-set, changing the norm, changing the expectations. We understand the positive impact the Corporate Work-Study Program has on families. The program expands the possibilities and helps students realize that dreams can become reality.”
Michael Dillard, Retired Latham & Watkins, LLP partner and Former Chairman of Cristo Rey Jesuit's Board of Trustees
