A new Jesuit college-preparatory high school geared to lower-income students is planned for east Houston within the next two years.

"The issue now is when will it be opened and exactly where on the east side of Houston it should be located," said Jeff Thielman, vice president for new initiatives for the board of the Chicago-based Cristo Rey Network.
